Now in its ninth year, this is TravelAid's longest running project.
In Georgia, TravelAid works with the Temi community. Over the past nine years, we have been providing the community with volunteers for four-six week periods during university easter and summer vacations. Volunteers have spent time teaching english to the residents, running dance classes, art workshops, and assisting on the farm. TravelAid's financial support over the past two years has enabled Temi to install a hot water supply, a bakery and helped to establish a carpentry apprenticeship scheme for residents wishing to acheive self-reliance.
